The Sacral Chakra, also known as the 2^nd Chakra, is located right below the belly button. This chakra brings creativity, motivation, pleasure and the energy to enjoy life on earth.

When the Sacral Chakra is balanced, we are able to relish in all that life has to offer, without overdoing it. When it is overactive, we will be prone to obesity and unhealthy addictions.

When the Sacral Chakra is underactive, we may experience symptoms of depression and a lack of passion and creativity. There are also health issues associated with a weak Sacral Chakra such as infertility, impotence and hormonal imbalances.

Crystals are often used in crystal healing therapies to help balance the chakras.

The colors that represent the Sacral Chakra are red and orange. The more common crystals that are used to balance this chakra are Fire Agate, Red Aventurine, Carnelian, Citrine, and Sunstone.
