Some skulls were even revered as the persons were either holy people or remarkable humans whom inspired people to be better. The energy associated with such skulls was regarded as special.

Our interpretation of the Empress, of impermanence and mortality appeals to us greatly. The crown signifies we are in charge of our own lives, life is short and as a mortal, the decisions we choose to make are important as we wish to be proud of how we lived.
